You wont get far as a safecracker unless you can crack safes, of course. The bonus game will have you biting your nails and breaking into a sweat - try to keep as cool and crack open as many of the 15 safes in 30 seconds as possible.
Each time you attempt to crack a safe there's a tense 3 second delay before the contents are revealed. Ruby rings are worth 20 points, which is nice, but you really need to try and find the rare blue diamond which is worth 100 points.There is only one blue diamond to be found so you'll need to be lucky.
The bonus round ends when the timer reaches zero.
On the right of the screen you will see your turbo meter which is key to completing 3 city stages. Starting in Las Vegas, build your Turbo Meter up to 10 and you will win 1000 points.
Build your meter up to 10 a second time to complete the Miami stage and earn another 1000 points.
Don't ease up yet though - if you've got the drive to go all the way there's 5000 points up for grabs when you build your meter up to 10 a third time to complete the New York stage.
